Presidential Campaign Review (And Trump)

This presidential campaign has been painful to watch.  Let's review the candidates.

Ben Carson was/is weird
Carly Fiorina was in over her head and a pathological liar
Lindsey Graham was Lindsey Graham
Little Ricky Santorum reminded everyone why they hated him
Mike Huckabee just seemed too desperate - I actually thought he was going to resort to self immolation to get attention
Jeb Bush seemed like he really didn't want to be there
Marco Rubio bless his heart has no idea about anything and thinks that if he is just a blank slate he can win
John Kasich pretends to be from the sensible center, he really is not but he will govern from the extremes
Ted Cruz believes that G-D has chosen him to lead this country and he actually believes in his talking points
Martin O'Malley (who was my first choice) just could not get any oxygen in the Sanders/Clinton world. He tried to run from the right of Sanders and from the left of Hillary - a place that does not exist
Bernie Sanders is a great guy - I don't think he is running on issues that can be achieved - I wish they could be but he is not in the real world
Hillary Clinton who has the best resume of all the candidates but people just can't warm to her

And, then there is Donald J Trump - the MSM darling (they continue to give him a free pass)
I initially thought with Trump in the race it would be hilarious, I thought he was going to be a few months of bluster and drama and he would announce his latest reality show.
But no; it is Trump who has made this race painful.
In his speeches he says nothing, he rambles from topic to odd topic and insult to insult.
He is thin skinned
He is self absorbed
He really believes in nothing other than Donald J Trump
His opinions on the great issues of the day are not based on research or taking the time to think about them He is all impulse and says what he thinks is going to get the best reaction.
He is for traditional marriage and yet he has been married three times
He is all about using the military at every instance but when this country called him to serve, which it did 5 times he applied for and received 5 deferments (rich kid)
He said he learned more about the military from attending a military styled boarding high school than men who actually served in the military.  Remember the 5 deferments
He claims to be self made but  his father was a millionaire and he took over the company
He says he is a great and successful businessman but the companies that are called Trump have filed for bankruptcy 4 times.
He talks about the working class in very racist terms
At what point in is climb to celebrity status has he ever tried to relate to working people?
How is going to make Mexico pay for that wall?  Go to war? (see 5 deferments)
He is fomenting violence by Islamic extremists
I am convinced that he won't release his tax information because we will find out he is not as rich as he tells us he is. Think about - he earned a large pay check from NBC and convinced them to pay his children as well.
He and his children needed that those paychecks
And, then there are his events.
They started out as raucous and he encouraged it and now they have become violent and he has clearly encouraged it.
Very soon a supporter will shoot off her gun at one of his events but that won't stop him.
A week later a white man will shoot and kill a person of color at a Trump event and then and only then will Trump's campaign come to an end

Fred Phelps has died  

I feel no guilt about being happy about this.  And, please no one try to tell me that all lives are precious - because his was not.

Will anyone mourn his passing?  

Will anyone shed a tear?

Will anyone grieve?

The vile children who began to run the "church" he founded even excommunicated him a few years back.

He was mean, he was cruel, he is was bigot, he was hateful and he was a truly awful person.

His protesting and taunting of the mourners at funerals was/is so disgusting that I can even find the right words to describe my true thoughts.

I am glad Fred Phelps is dead I only wish he could have taken the family members who have taken up his causes with him.

I wished I believed in hell.  

But, then even a place like that is too good for him. His corpse just rotting away and becoming nothing is much more appropriate end for a man of no value to society.

Fred Phelps is dead - let all the people rise together and say AMEN! 

Explaining The War on Christmas to Idiots

A rant and I apologize in advance for the harsh language but....

Every year we put up with the Fox news and Conservative lie. The War on Christmas!

NO ONE IS STOPPING ANYONE FROM SAYING MERRY CHRISTMAS!

IF YOU WANT TO SAY MERRY CHRISTMAS

JUST FUCKING SAY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Oh and grow the fuck up and concern yourself with something important.

And, does Sarah Palin's poorly written book count as part of the war on Christmas since she is using Christmas to personally prosper - which does not seem like something Mary and Joseph would do.

Last time I looked this was this The United States and we have freedom of speech and some of us prefer to say
Happy Holidays!
and you are un-American and do not believe in the freedom of speech if you criticize your fellow citizens who choose to say this instead.

In summation
THERE IS NO WAR ON CHRISTMAS - NO ONE DECLARED A WAR ON CHRISTMAS - IT HAS NEVER EXISTED AND IT DOES NOT EXIST NOW AND IT WILL NEVER EVER EVER FUCKING EXIST.

Santorum; Hating The Gays Tour Continues

Here we go again!

Nothing about "hot man on dog action' but more of the usual over the top rhetoric from former Pennsylvania Senator and delusional presidential hopeful Little Ricky Santorum .


While speaking before a GOP Leadership conference the man who has an unhealthy obsession about homosexuality made some outrageous claims.  But, he makes claims like this so often they are almost getting boring.

Homophobia was going along just fine until Will & Grace came on TV.

By saying this Santorum is confirming that visibility has helped gay people's treatment in society - or To know us is to Love us.

Christians are afraid of speaking out because they are afraid of being branded haters and bigots.

Well, if ya'll go against the teaching of Jesus Christ and preach hate instead of love maybe you area a bigoted hater.  Santorum is also hinting at the extreme right wing fear that Christianity is going to become illegal.

If Republicans support marriage equality they are supporting the destruction of the nation.

So if I legally marry the guy I have been with for almost 30 years this great republic will be destroyed.  Sorry Senator Pervert your hateful view of the world is causing more damage to the freedoms and sense of justice that built this nation than my love.

But, this great nation is stronger than pathetic, evil, small minded little obsessive prigs.

I wish I knew the real reason Richard John Santorum was so obsessed with this issue.  What happened in his life to make this such a focus?

Cuccinelli; Priests Will Soon Be Outlawed

This may be the most ridiculous act of political desperation I may have ever seen.  Ken Cuccinelli  the GOP Attorney General of Virginia and  nominee for Governor of Virginia is bombing in the polls and is on track to go down to a flaming and inglorious defeat.


The campaign has sent out a fundraising letter from Mrs. Cuccinelli that predicts the priests will be arrested in the pulpit for teaching Christian values.  So look out Father Ryan the black President is going to be sending his Naziesque storm troopers into your parish if you teach love, compassion and tolerance (since that is what Jesus taught).  But, really the wife of Ken was referring to the anti women, anti minority and gay bashing that many in the modern Republican party claim as Christian values.

This fundraising letter is of course a reaction the the Supreme Court refusing to hear Cuccinelli case trying reinstate the anti blow job laws in Virginia.

I wonder how much time Ken Cuccinelli and Rich Santorum spend together?

Michelle Bachman, Jesus and The Devil

Minnesota Republican Congresswoman Michelle Bachman is either a liar or just a lunatic but either way it is still appalling how much attention the main stream media pays attention to her.  All this attention does is fatten her wallet and encourages her.

Her statements and actions become more and more outrageous as she gets closer to the end of her final term in the Congress.  Now, she is accusing the President of The United States of funding terrorists.  Is her insanity so deep that she is confusing Barack Obama with Ronald Reagan, has her warped mind gone back in time?

But, fear not because she is not all that bothered by the news the Barack/Ronald Obama/Reagan is giving arms to terrorists because it is a sign that the end days are coming. Jesus is on his way back to town and he is pissed.

I hope Fox News or MSNBC has a camera focused on the well dressed yet crazy woman from Minnesota in case Jesus does return.

I imagine it going something like this.

Jesus takes one look at her, checks his tablet and says

"Oh no Girlfriend you are NOT coming with me, you are going to stay right here where you are"

She looks around confused and begins to speak but Jesus raises his hand and continues

"See all those Gay people over there; they have voted you off Revelation Island, I have discussed the issue with my father and even he is convinced that you are beyond redemption."

The Congresswoman falls to her knees and begins to pray but Jesus says

"Who exactly are you praying to, I am standing right here?"

There is a ruckus to his right and out of the black clouds walks Dick Cheney and he says "She was praying to me"

Jesus just shakes his head and says "Dick you are such a little devil, Where's Liz?"

Liz Cheney appears from the dark smoke reaches down and pulls Mrs. Bachman to her feet and says "I am taking you to the promise land" 

Michelle with tears in her eyes walks through the black clouds, when she arrives on the other side she sees a sign.

How Can Anyone Hate Miss America? But, some do.....

So many people really are just stupid.  

Some of the comments about the new Miss American are just disgusting.  The show a lack of understanding of geography, religion and anything else that does not support the notion of white superiority. If the comments were not so mean some of them would be funny.

Of course some of the most awful came from a Fox News commentator.

Congratulations to Nina Davuluri - I hope you have an enjoyable and positive reign as Miss America.  Don't let the the idiots get to you most of your fellow Americans are pretty decent people.

The Congressman representing the best and the brightest of all of Texas aka Louie the Dumb  Gohmert has proposed that the executive branch be defunded.

Hot damn this man is a genius.

Could it be the bloom is off the rose as far as the "he who channels Joseph McCarthy" aka Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.

Iowa Republicans are having a bit a of a time selling tickets to a dinner where the nastiest Senator is going to be the guest speaker.  Just this week they began to offer a 25% discount.

They are also having a deep discount on sweater vests.  Perhaps the man on dog logo is not as popular with voters as Little Ricky Santorum promised.

Gov. Corbett's Pandering Cost Taxpayers....A Lot

Attention taxpayers of Pennsylvania the worst Governor in the long history of this Commonwealth Tom Corbett is spending $400 an hour for the lead attorney & $325 an hour for each of his many associates to defend discrimination.


Yes, the pandering to the extreme right that Corbett is so clumsy at is costing those of us fortunate to live in King Charles's gift to William Penn is going to cost us a lot of money.

I wonder how many teachers could have been re-hired?

Could a bridge have been fixed?

How many potholes on route 78 could have been filled?

Any of the Democrats are better than Tom Corbett.

Campaigning Against Cory Booker

What does it say about your Senate campaign  when your post primary campaign tour is called "Expose Cory Booker" tour.

It says you are desperate and it says you are not going to tell the voters your true positions.  Mr. Lonegan knows he can not win so he figures he might as well attempt to tarnish the reputation of Mr. Booker. It will not work.  Cory Booker is a superstar and a media darling and he has the substance to back it up.  

Is a man who claims;

"His models in the Senate are all Tea Party freshmen: Ted Cruz of Texas (“brilliant,” he called him), Mike Lee of Utah (“very principled”) and Rand Paul of Kentucky (“sharp, aggressive”).

really a good fit for the Senate from New Jersey.

Good On You Ke$ha!

I like Ke$ha!



I know I know I know.

Say what you want but right now the child is wildly popular and she cranks out very catching tunes.  Let us not forget that I am a tall, fairly thin, white, gay man of a certain age.  I love dance music.

And, Ke$ha is all about the dancing and the party. Her songs are fun and the are very girl powered.  Not at the deeper empowering feminist level of  the amazing P!nk or the sublime Kelly Clarkson but her girls are not victims nor are they push overs.

Because Ke$ha likes and supports The Gays her tour is being picketed by members of the Westboro Baptist Church.  Who are not really a church in a traditional sense but family members bonded by a sick hate.

Apparently Ke$ha and her people had grown weary of the protests and wanted to show support for a large segment of her fans (The Gays) so 3 of her back up boys decide to dance in front of the protesters before her show in Lincoln, Nebraska.  The "church" members were playing their disgusting version of her song "We R who we R".

Well done you! Ke$sha (and your hot dancers).  Bring on the glitter bring on the love!

According to a FOX news superstar The President & Oprah  are trying to start a race war.  I'm not sure I have the energy to comment on this.  As you know I have no love for Oprah Winfrey (I once said there was no difference between her and Jerry Springer) but really...Oprah Winfrey is not about to start a race war and Barack Obama has shown no evidence that he wants to start one either.  This is so silly I can hardly believe I am writing this much about it.

It is really bad to like The Gays  if you are a Republican in Alabama - The President of the College Republicans about to get booted because she "liked" the Supreme Court decision overturning DOMA.  Alabama is the past, present and future of the Republican party and that my friends is a good thing if you are Democrat running for President.

A gay marine who lost his leg  in service to his nation in the Iraq war is booed at a public forum. When will people who claim to be Christians actually act Christ like?
