Liberals Hate Obama Making Money

I call bullshit -  liberals are bemoaning the fact that President Obama is going to get a big paycheck for speaking in front of the "Wall Street Crowd".

Making money is bad?
Speaking to people who disagree with you and getting a bad ass paycheck for it wrong?

It is these people who helped deliver the White House to Trump.
How many of them voted for Putin loving Jill Stein ? 

I say you go Mr. President!  Speak the truth to the people who need it most. 

Endorsement Vs Integrity

Bernie Sanders has yet to endorse Hillary Clinton or drop out of the race but he has said he will vote for her. 

What is he waiting for? 

His integrity won't let him?  Not likely

If he had any integrity as an independent he would have run for President as an independent and not as a Democrat.

If he had any integrity as an independent he would not have accepted the $10,000 Hillary Clinton gave him during his Senate race.  He would have returned it to her people. But, he took it and he spent it.  If she is so bad and such a 'corporate whore' (as his supporters have called her) why would he have taken her contribution?

Why is he still running?  Could it be the contributions he is still racking in?  Could it be ego?  Could it be he is delusional? 

My bet is on the money.

There is a very good chance that the Democrats will take back control of the US Senate after this election and if that happens Bernie Sanders is in line to become a very important committee chairman.

But, that will not happen if he does not endorse and actively campaign for the Presidential nominee.

What do you think the Senator from Vermont will do?

1. Maintain his "integrity" and not support Hillary Clinton.
2. Endorse and campaign for/with Hillary Clinton and assure his senior ranking in the US Senate.

I know that you Sanders true believers will say # 1.  But, you have proven how naïve you are time and time again. And, many of you are the same people who turned on Barack Obama pretty quickly.  You don't live in the real world, are very fragile and easily fooled.

Having said all this I think his name should be placed in nomination because his 3 million less voters then Hillary Clinton deserve that honor and respect.

Politics is not pretty kids and it involves compromise and sacrifice if you can't handle get out and let the adults handle things

Throwing Money at Hillary

The Sanders supporters thought they were oh so clever throwing dollar bills at the Hillary Clinton motorcade as it drove up to George Clooney's house for a multi-million dollar fundraiser.  They did it because they assumed the fundraiser was for her campaign.

The amount people paid for that event would have been illegal under current fundraising limits for a Presidential campaign.

So, what was Hillary Clinton doing at George Clooney's house?

She was raising money for the Democratic Party general election efforts.  I am sure her campaign picked up more that a few shekels for her own campaign but the big money went to the fall campaign.

If the non-Democrat Bernie Sanders wins the Democratic Party nomination he will  benefit from the fundraiser held at George Clooney's home.

Will he ask that the money Hillary Clinton has raised for the Democratic Party not be spent to benefit his efforts?

If you say yes you are beyond stupid.

Bernie Sanders is not a Democrat but you know as well as I do he will be more than happy to let the money Hillary Clinton has raised for the party benefit his November efforts. Is he really that independent? Nothing in his political history tells me he is.

If Bernie Sanders really had any integrity he would have run for President as an Independent as a Democratic Socialist.  But, apparently Bernie Sanders really is just like any other opportunist politician.

So, throw your dollar bills at a limousine "True Liberals"  but really you should question why you are supporting just another expedient politician.

I like Bernie Sanders and I have for 30 years but let us just be honest about him.

Dear Sec.Clinton & Sen. Sanders

Good Afternoon;

One of you was a First Lady, US. Senator & Secretary of State, the other was a distinguished & innovative Mayor and a widely respected member of the House and now the Senate.

You are both smart, forward thinking and compassionate.  You both care about lifting all portions of the economy, you both support our troops, you are both pro-choice, pro health care and pro including the LGBT community in the full communion of the American dream.

One of you is going to face either Donald Trump or Raphael Cruz in the fall. It is going to take both of you to bring your supporters along in that battle.

So, do me a favor.

Knock it the fuck off.  Stop the bullshit.  Stop the name calling. Stop the "outrage".  Stop asking for "apologies" from each other.  Stop sending your surrogates onto TV to trash talk the other side and then sending someone else out to walk it back with back handed compliments.

Just stop it now!

Go back to battling about ideas and visions and issues.

You are both more qualified the any of the GOP contenders.  You both have better ideas.

Just stop, at long last I am begging you just stop.

You are pissing me off and you DO NOT WANT TO PISS OF Donald C. Flad Jr. It is not pretty and no one ever recovers from it.

de Blasio Raising Money - Quinn Left a Bundle on The Table

Since winning the New York Democratic mayoral primary Bill de Blasio has raised almost three times  as much money as his Republican opponent.


The most amazing part of this story is that third place candidate and one time front runner City Council President Christine Quinn had almost $5 million. One of the cardinal rules of politics is end the race with as little money as possible.  It is wise to set aside some money for the general election and or post primary expenses but you don't leave $5 million unspent.

I would have thought that when her lead began to dwindle she would have spent more money to get her message out.  Even in the money pit that is the New York media market $5 million dollars can go a long way.

Politely Asking to Not Commit Mass Murder

Howard Schultz, Chairman of Starbucks announced that  guns will no longer be welcome inside or at the outside seating of the coffee house.  Mr. Schultz has not banned guns he has just asked politely that people not bring them into his stores.

Perhaps gun control advocates having been going about this issue all wrong.

Maybe if we just ask politely for people to not walk into movie theaters, classrooms, military bases and houses of worship with guns and start slaughtering people they just won't.

That way everybody is happy.  Psychotics like Wayne La Pierre will no longer look like lunatics on television and liberals can continue to be polite and care about making the world a better place.

Since the existing gun laws don't seem to be working let's just not try to improve them and just politely ask people not to commit mass murder.

Sounds like an effective plan to me.

Joan Walsh Challenges Politico...And Wins

She who should not be crossed;  Joan Walsh takes apart  a Politico piece about the results of the New York City Democratic Primary and specifically the author's observations about apparent nominee Bill de Blasio.

For those of us who can't get enough about this years fascinating race for Mayor of the Capitol of The World this is an interesting read.

Joan Walsh has always responded positively to my tweets and comments to her and she personally got involved when I was having a problem trying to become a supporter of Salon.  Not that I'm bragging or claiming a friendship because I know if I ever cross Ms. Walsh I know what to expect.  And, she'll no doubt be right.

I Hardly Ever Think about Weiner

I was going to blog something about Anthony Weiner and then I realized I just don't care and I have not given it much thought.  He is yesterday's news.

The Republicans who are trying to link Weiner to something that is corrupt about the entire Democratic party are just coming off as desperate and weak minded.

The pathetic Republican who are hoping the Affair Weiner will somehow negatively impact the Clinton Foundation and Hillary's political future because Weiner's wife is Mrs. Clinton's top aide forget that the Clinton's are covered and teflon and it is really just a silly argument to begin with.

The weak minded Liberals who are gnashing their teeth and wrenching their clothes because they fear the same thing are professional cry babies who specialize is gnashing their teeth and wrench their clothes over the most ridiculous issues.

I mean really, if somebody does not vote for Hillary Clinton because of Anthony Weiner's inability to keep his dick off of Twitter may be a good argument to bring back the literacy tests for voting.

But, like I said earlier I have hardly thought about this at all.

Liberal's Are a Pain in The Ass

There are times when liberal's really piss me off.

But, Donald you are a self professed liberal, how can this be?

Because many are such astronomical pains in the ass.

Reuters is reporting that some liberal Supreme Court watchers are urging Justice Ginsburg to resign because they are afraid she will die sometime after 2017 and there may be a Republican President.

Is it ageism? I think it might be.

Justice Ginsburg was clearly at the top of her intellect and stamina this past term with her stunning and precise dissents.  Her opinions were devastating to the majority and provided us with the words we needed to fight back.

Perhaps these liberals should spend their energy, money and access to reporters working to elect more progressives to the Senate in 2014 to ensure a greater Democratic majority just in case a Republican wins the White House in 2016.  Perhaps these liberals should spend their energy, money and access to reporters working to actually elect another Democrat President in 2016.

But no no no no no...They are going to waste their energy and my time by pressuring Justice Ginsburg to leave a job where she is a leader and making an historical impact.

Liberal please....get real, get a life and leave academia just long enough to see what we are doing and fighting for outside your ivy covered walls.
